Red Memories

I stopped off at Old Warden airfield on my way home this afternoon after work, but saw no interesting aircraft out on the airfield.  However, this rather gorgeous "redhead" attracted my attention.

I never owned a Cortina, although I drove a few, but this machine would have charmed me to bits in my youth.  I wouldn't fancy having to look after one now, and I've become used to the luxury of nearly new cars that won't rust or otherwise let me down; but it did look rather good . . .
