Bullfinch

Bullfinch caught in the garden today gorging himself on dandelion seeds.

It was a particularly dreich day here and I also had the wrong lens on for this photo but it's the old story of the right camera being the camera you had to hand and in this case it was the α7 II with the 55mm lens on so I just snapped away and cropped the best of the results like crazy (this about 1/25 of the area of the original photo).
