Time to shed a cloot?

The May's oot!!!

Had a happy time in the garden potting up and planting out various seedlings and plants today.  I have never grown onions but bought a set of 6 seedling plugs for a variety called Red Baron (couldn't resist them being a Snoopy fan in my yoof!) I do hope they do well.  While planting things in my raised bed veg patch l came across another two oak seedlings planted by my local squirrels!  I have potted them into deep pots and will grow them on and find somewhere to plant them when they are more robust.  I can't think that we can ever have enough oak trees in this world. l have always wanted some woodland.. if l do purchase some then l will call it squirrel wood and plant the oaks there instead!!

Today both daughters were abroad.. one going and one returning.  One in the Netherlands for a long weekend and the other going to Spain to volunteer for three weeks.  Worried about her actually.. she had a problem in her final exam at Uni.. but there is nothing we can do but wait and hear the result.. in the meantime her boyfriend dumped her and her best friend has been diagnosed with Lymphoma.. oh dear... do hope all will be well.

She has arrived safely in Seville and will travel again in the morning after a good nights sleep l hope.

In extras l have added a picture of the really weird sky we had tonight. No thunder for us as yet.. perhaps tonight..
