Miss Flum may have moved out but her large cactus still resides on the kitchen windowledge, so it is we elders who benefit from the mass of flowers that have recently emerged from 17 of the branchlets.
When she has removed the plant to her own house I might be able to reach the window to wash it without my hands resembling a pincushion.
