Lockies

It was the horn that came as a surprise. Never mind, I got in anyway. Raheny did the decent thing and took us far up into the hills to admire Lough Tay and the surrounding vistas. It was splendid. As were the Guinness in Dun Loaghaire later - a reward of sorts, save I had to DART back sooner than I would have liked.

Earlier, there's a lot of going around stuff and feeling less than satisfied. The Guinness tour thing that sucks you in and then tries very hard to hide the exit. Skip it.

The referendum thing that just makes you cross because you've just seen all the lies and deceit before in different guises from previous campaigns.

The people in St Patrick's Cathedral who don't understand about serenity and calm and, well, just good behaviour really.

Raheny suggested Lockies would be a bit of a shock to the system, but worth it for the Guinness. Far from it. It was absolutely what was required and a fine night cap.

Cheers, my friend. And thanks again.
