Sunset at Fourth Barrier

Been a beautiful day here in Orkney.
Went to St Margaret's Hope for the book sale and then a walk with the dog on the beach at the fourth barrier.
Built by Italian prisoners of war during the Second World War it has had a great build up of sand over the years and is now a site of Special Scientific Interest.
What the sea takes away in one place, it gives back in another.
