Hawkeye on M74

I had a fabulous day out today with a bunch of Falconers and more importantly their many working Birds of Prey. They meet up every so often for a day of exercise in the hills.

It was mostly Harris Hawks but we had a few other species as well.

We had some stunning views after climbing high up on the hills just at the side of the M74 near Crawford. The lighting and scenery were stunning.

Took lots of pictures, some of which I haven't seen yet. I almost posted one of a Hawk with its catch (a rabbit) but it wasn't for the squeamish! So I decided to change it for this one which I quite liked of the Bird surveying the busy motorway.
