We all had a good day, and most importantly Kjell had a good day on his 65th birthday.
A slow start to the day, sitting in the sun, and then into Kalmar to look at the Castle and the Leonardo da Vinci exhibition. The exhibition is travelling the world and if it comes to a castle near you I'd say it was well worth a look! (Actually it may not be a castle, could just be an exhibition hall.)
Kalmar castle is also well worth visiting as there is a lot to see there.
When the castle closed we wandered the town a little and then had a delicious meal at the aptly named E.A.T.
On Kjell's first day as a pensioner he got into the castle a little cheaper and got a pensioner's price at the evening meal! Today (I'm a little late with this blip) he is back at work and after the summer he'll be working half-time. He enjoys his job too much to just stop!
