This is why I don't trust in weather forecast: they said today it would be just partially cloudy. As you can see, it was indeed mostly cloudy, just in the afternoon it became clear.
As daddy taugh me decades ago, cloudy days are sometimes better for photography because lighting is more uniform along the picture, with less highlights and shadows.
