Dinner

My resident heron entertained me tonight by fishing for his dinner right across the water from my deck.  He had a buddy a few feet down the bank who was doing the same thing.  This is when I wish I had a longer lens.  Fortunately, the heron is a very slow moving bird with amazing patience so they stand in the same spot for a long time and make it easier for me.
