Jackdaw in the Avon Gorge

On our urban walk with friend Adrian, we ended up on the Downs, as opposed to down on the ups, and Mr Jackdaw posed. Usually when that happens and I pick up my camera, the subject immediately decides to fly off, but this time he stayed.
