Oxford at Night / Bikes of Oxford

I'm not the greatest of night owls ( or morning larks for that matter, more like some kind of sloth really ... ) - so photographs towards summer in the dark are few and far between. However, a run to the station in the evening to pick up a returner from London gave me the opportunity to take a few before the scheduled arrival time.

The first is taken by the Radcliffe Camera, I was torn between this and the extra for the main blip, but I chose this in the end because of the better thumbnail opportunity ! The image shows the north-east corner of Brasenose College - and someone either taking a photo with their phone, or struggling with reception ...

The extra is one for the "Bikes of Oxford" series - this is taken on the most charming side street called "North Parade Avenue" - and the bike (in focus - with the basket and the lamp) is one of the city's many dockless bikes - that may, or may not, be a good thing ...

For the technically inclined - Fuji X-T1, Nikon speed increasing adapter, 50mm f1.4 lens, ISO3200 & 1/110 sec for the main, ISO250 & 0.5 sec for the extra ...
