Today in my garden

My SiL told me that she had to mow her lawn, which reminded me of mine. I have a very small piece of lawn in the garden. Less than two square meters. I prefer to call it my wildflower field. After a few years of poor maintenance, there did were no flowers at all. I planted bulbs in the autumn, flowering prosperously in spring. Just now, I notice a few 145 centimeters high plants. Hurray!
One of these days, however, I have to cut it all, because it is time to turn the compost. I wonder if some sunflowers would do nicely in my wildflower meadow.
