SHAGED PILE

This well known Christchurch Landmark has always been known as "Shag Rock" presumably because the shags made it their roosting point.  During the 2011 ChCh Earthquake event of which we had over 12,000 shakes the Rock was reduced to about half of its size - hence it is now comicly known as "Shag Pile". Incidently the shags done seem to roost there now,
