Blackheath fireworks

Beautiful day today, although mostly spent cleaning the flat and making stew. But all for a good cause - our friend Charlotte came over this evening, and we walked over to the heath to watch the fireworks display. Got ourselves a good viewpoint by the pond, where the poor ducks, geese and swans were going slightly loopy. I did have a photo with the birds in the foreground but Charlotte has decreed that this pic must be my photo of the day, so here it is!
