Don't stop to play

If I pass a dog that's tied up outside a shop, I'm always tempted to stop and pet it.  Looks like that wouldn't be a good idea with this dog, so I didn't stop to play with its hair. A young woman came out of the shop and said that it's a temperamental dog, so good on the owner for putting the cautionary sign there, just in case dog lovers like me are tempted.The sign made us smile though.
