P’boro 900

Peterborough cathedral is 900 years old this year! Lots of celebrations are due over the summer. I stumbled across this giant book in the cathedral grounds at lunch time detailing some of key historical events it has witnessed. It was fascinating. I always think of Peterborough as ‘new’ city rapidly expanded during the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s but it’s history is all around us.
