Edinburgh Marathon Festival

Lyn was doing the EMF 5K this morning for the charity Breast Cancer Now. There was a great atmosphere at the start and finish lines with plenty of people cheering the runners, joggers and walkers along the route too. It was so blooming cold in Edinburgh that we all wanted a shot of Lyn's space blanket but she sensibly kept it to herself.

We rendezvoused with my sister, brother-in-law and their friends who are doing the half and full marathons tomorrow. After hanging about in the stiff easterly wind the sun finally came out so no-one needs a space blanket now.

Home to prepare food for visitors and I hope we can party in the garden later on.
