Common vetch

Although the day started cool and grey it was the hottest it's been this year by lunchtime.  Hazel and I had a long, enjoyable but exhausting walk round Barton Farm, which is at last beginning to look like it's turning into wildflower meadow, even though there's still a lot of self-sown barley among the poppies and hawkweed.  There are many other flowers as well, with new, solidly architechtural teasel spears pushing back at the waving grasses.

And waving they were - it was pretty breezy, not really the day for blipping wildflowers, but this vetch managed to stay still for enough of a split second, I'm happy to say.

And thank you all for your lovely comments, hearts and stars yesterday.  That was so kind.  I shall try to say so individually, but know one or two names slipped off the bottom of the blip-listing before I got to them, so do forgive me for any inefficiencies.  I am most truly grateful to you all  xx
