tempus fugit

It's the Folk Festival weekend in Fishguard and Morris dancers were  clattering and stamping in the street as usual. I popped into the Animal Welfare charity shop and, while his wife was browsing, this chap asked if he could play a tune on his ukelele. He wasn't part of the festival but had brought it along for the occasion. The spontaneity of his performance was charming and somehow more appealing than the organised fare. I didn't ask his name but his dog was called Sheppey and if you have sharp eyes you might spot his doppelganger.
