Red door

A red door has many meanings depending on cultural context. This is the main door to Christ Church Anglican in Holland Landing. I love the fancy hinges and the ring handles. The structure was built in 1843 and is the site of our third church today - the launch day of the Christmas bazaar season. Linda goes for knits, baked goodies, jams, and sometimes scores some nice trinkets. I drink coffee or hot chocolate and scrounge the book bins and tables. I got two recipe books for a dime each and scored a mint condition recent trade edition of The Great Gatsby for a half a loonie behind this door. No CDs or DVDs today at any of the bazaars. Maybe next week.

Linda blipped the same door but in a much wider shot of the whole edifice.
