...that will not be drowned. Maggi Hambling's 12ft-high scallop shell memorial to Benjamin Britten on Aldeburgh beach.


With the promise of a lovely day ahead we went of to the Suffolk coast by way of Sutton Hoo. We had a great day finishing with a fish and chip supper at The Upper Deck Diner in Aldeburgh.
