Patterns....

Years ago I made several trips to visit Margaret and partner Steve in Thailand. They were living in Bangkok where the shopping is amazing. I brought home several silk cushion covers. One of my favourites has a square panel of patterned and textured Thai silk. The elaborate pattern is picked out in gold thread as shown in this image. Maisie and I were out walking very early this morning.... a cloudy day with a little light rain this morning.
