Bullhead

We disturbed this little fish while paddling in the Wharfe at Ilkley. Having looked it up I find it's a Bullhead: about 10cm long it apparently likes clean, pebbly rivers.

We had a picnic and a little walk down the river, over the little suspension bridge and back and then pottered about town for a bit. A modest excursion.
