bath time

This afternoon I sat on the patio in the sun doing various things when this blackbird came for a bath. I had my camera but not ready so thought I'd missed an opportunity but when it flew hopped away I got it ready, just in case. And I was rewarded as he returned shortly after and caught him bathing in my solar powered fountain. The extra shows him having a good splash but I like the way he's sitting under the fountain in this one.
It was rather warm in the sun and I had to retreat to the shade later.
