Today's the day ............................ to follow the path

A quiet Sunday spent in and around the village of Moniaive in Dumfries & Galloway.

The temperatures were in the low twenties - perfect for a stroll after a late breakfast along the riverside into the centre of the village.  The path was lined with wild garlic, still at their best here.  This is such a wonderful place for children to grow up - in a safe environment with lots of space and freedom to explore.

A visit this afternoon to Caitloch House, a grand baronial mansion to see the garden and to take afternoon tea - with all proceeds going to a good cause.  Will has painted it here.............................
