Snowshill Manor

It was an overcast and wet day as we set off for Snowshill Manor in the Cotswolds. This is a National Trust property which was owned by Charles Wade who filled it with his collection of weird and wonderful items. The garden was beautiful but it was too wet to appreciate it properly.

Unfortunately due to bank holiday traffic it took nearly seven hours to get to our next destination at Morecambe. The hotel staff coped well with our late arrival as we had to go straight in for dinner. The entertainment at the bar afterwards rounded off a very long day.
