Love/Hate

Go Large for more pollen.

I have a love/hate relationship with dandelions.  I hate them for the obvious reasons: allergies and yard maintenance.  Though I love finding bees, covered in pollen, on these little yellow disks.  As for today, I was loving all the yellow weeds in our yard; tiny bees were darting from dandelion to dandelion.  Tomorrow I'm sure to be back to hating them.

This evening I found an unusual bee on our violas.  He's in extras if you car to have a look.

I accomplished lots of gardening today.   The temperatures were terribly warm and the humidity was pretty high, but it felt good to get some of the outdoor projects done. :)
