Autumn Reflections

Taken in Marie-Antoinette's gardens at Chateau de Versailles! Wasn't sure whether to post this one or a more obvious Versailles shot but in the end I went for this one as I like it more!

A lovely, crisp day out in Versailles, went around part of the castle and then spent a couple of hours in the beautiful gardens, enjoying the lovely sun! It was VERY busy with irritating, pushy (Asian-oops!) tourists trying to photograph everything and willing to push anyone out of their way in order to get a photo. Thus why we didn't spend much time in the actual chateau. (Can't imagine what it's like during the summer months, as this is supposed to be "low season")

Nonetheless, it was a very enjoyable day out!

After the castle we had a little walk around Versailles, which is really really nice, full of cute little cafes and restaurants, much like Paris but without the excessive traffic/dog poo/homeless people/people rushing to and fro/etc.

Back to Paris and home for dinner, before climbing up to the Sacré Coeur and having a walk around Montmartre.
Our evening ended with a quick drink in one of the local bars and an early(ish) night.

All in all a nice day out with my big sis :)
