Red campion

It's out in force at the moment, this particular plant is just outside the walls, but it's inside the garden too, and I saw loads of it on Sunday's walk. I love it for its cheerful colour.

A day that started off dull and damp (you can see that on the petals) but is ending bright and sunny. Sadly it doesn't look as if there will be much sun around for the rest of the week. I hope they are wrong - they often are!
