I hear thunder

Huge thunderstorms here this afternoon, which meant I spent a fair while comforting a trembling hound.  But at least I wasn't stuck on a coach on the autobahn waiting for the firemen to move a fallen (onto a car) tree or in Aachen where the torrential, monsoon like downpour entertained the students no end (judging by the number of videos uploaded anyway).
