Messing About On The River

We spent a wonderful afternoon with my Brother down on the River. We did a BBQ at the water's edge and then went for a spin around up to the weir and back down to the lock. 
Lots of wildlife evident along the river bank, including Greylags and their young, Great Crested Grebe sitting on eggs and the beautiful Kingfisher. We even had a Muntjac come up to the lodge for a drink of water.   
I didn't want to leave but I always feel like that when I go there.
