Loadpot Hill Ponies

There were just 4 of us today, cramming an extra day’s walking into our weekend.

We started in hot sun again, from Pooley Bridge and found a couple of tricky nav points on our way to Arthur’s Pike. As clouds came over, providing some welcome shade, we carried on up to Loadpot Hill, to find about 10 ponies right by the trig point.

We navigated our way to a good many contour points on the way back, mostly re-entrants and I was very pleased with how I did. I think explaining it to someone else (Heidi & Amy) helps focus the thought processes. It was certainly a good day out.

Blipping from the car during a dreadful journey back home :-(
