They've hatched!

A walk to our local lake to see how our pair of swans were doing and there they were, two little cygnets recently hatched. I know two isn't many but this is a young pair of parents and I suspect that future clutches may be larger. So lovely to see them and both parents and chicks look very healthy.

Have missed a couple of days as I had to go to hospital on Sunday with a suspected thrombosis or infection in my hand and arm. Fortunately it has turned out to be an infection so back on the antibiotics which were making me feel a little off colour yesterday.
