Stamens galore

Now that we're home I'm still trying to check all corners of the garden to see what's growing and in bloom at the moment, this shrub is tucked away in a shady corner. From afar it's a shrub with small pink clusters of flowers, when you go closer you see this wood of stamens :-) I'll ID it later hopefully. Edit: I think it's Spiraea Japonica - Japonese Meadowsweet

Don't forget that tomorrow it's Abstract Thursday, with the optional theme 'Straight out of camera/SOOC', which means no faffing with editing program filters or apps. Cropping and intentional camera movement is certainly allowed though. Do have a try to see/find and capture real life abstracts, they are out there, patterns, shadows, textures, reflections, which can all be captured as abstract ! The tag will be AT153.
