Not the expected activity

Arrived home to a plumbing pain with water gushing from a tap this evening, fortunately it was going straight down the plug hole. After turning off the stop cock and a lot of fiddling and swearing I managed to get to the split washer and by a small miracle find an identical one to reinstall. Minor panic over :-)
