Matinee

Normally I spend Wednesday afternoons with CyclopsJnr, but we had a family day out on Monday so today MrsCyclops and I decided to go out for lunch and see the Matinee performance of Wicked.

I've seen it before, and this was a really good production.  The scenery and costumes were wonderful, the cast put their all into it, and the performances were very good.  The sound was weak though - very peaky in the midrange and a lot of top was missing making it hard to hear the enunciation of words.  It was a notch short of the production I saw in London - there was just a little bit of passion and flare that wasn't quite there...

Still, I enjoyed my afternoon with the lovely MrsCyclops enormously!
