Large rose sawfly

STILL NO FRANK!! I have spent all day calling him to no avail - Will make signs and leaflets next! I simply cannot understand how he just vanished into thin air !! But I do believe he will be back - it’s a waiting game I am afraid :-(
This is the Large rose sawfly Arge pagana probably , (taken with the iPhone X as I didn’t have the camera with me. Still, I don’t think it did too bad a job in the circumstances.) it was lurking in my daughters rose bush, which I guess will be covered in sawfly larvae very soon...
Anyway tomorrow is another day ......
