Here come the girls

Had a lovely walk today. T did some flying and I enjoyed the beautiful surrounding countryside. There were gorgeous and different cloud formations in every quarter of the sky including a short-lived rainbow. Inquisitive teenage cows came to explore the camera and the 'girls' (sheep) in the neighbouring field came for a nose too.

At the end of the day it got quite cold and the starlings started their murmurings. Literally hundreds of them on the telephone wires all huddled together and then, as one, they launched themselves into their spectacular flying display. However, I am not particularly fond of starlings en masse, especially when they take up residence in the nearby trees and leave their deposits everywhere!
