What a lovely day:-

to Voyage with the Mayflower

The honey is really  being brought in by the bees at a tremendous rate at the moment.  We beekeepers call it a "honey flow"

The honey is mainly coming from Sycamore and Hawthorn both of which are still in full flower.

The Hawthorn is showing the first signs of coming to an end.  In the later stage of the flowering period the florets develop a slight pink tinge.

I am busy extracting the honey just as fast as I can!
