The Boathouse Fitness Centre at Strathclyde Country Park closed today.

Run by Scottish Rowing in conjunction with North Lanarkshire Council. The closure followed failure to agree revised charges proposed by NLC

Frankly a disgraceful easy road out option with no attempt made to seek the opinion of the loyal gym membership. Members were notified of today’s closure yesterday

This was a centre of excellence for people with disabilities and injured service personnel.
