Sunrise over Africa

This view was our reward for 6 days of trekking up Africa's highest peak, Mount Kilimanjaro. We started our summit attempt at midnight with the hope of reaching the crater rim (5730m AMSL) in time for this breathtaking event. We were not disappointed and it is an image I will never forget.
