Friday: Drone Fly Larva ...

... I think, please feel free to correct me on this! My source of identification http://www.bugsandweeds.co.uk/hoverflies.html#ErisPert - I've never noticed anything like them before, there are about a dozen of them swimming happily in the large tray under the pots. We've had thundery rain, mist and sunshine today, lots of water everywhere.
I've been preparing for tomorrow's Lifeboat Day & relaxing after all the gardening yesterday.
