Bathtime

Roman style! These Roman baths are near the site of Segedunum Fort, in Wallsend. The stones I've highlighted in the thumbnail are original and were used to support the floor above the waterflow providing underfloor heating for the bathers!
A bit of history on a hugely enjoyable bike ride. A great way to end the half-term week.
