Golden Couple

Today was my mum and dad's Golden Wedding Anniversary. Yes, 50 years of marriage and counting. 

My brother, Jo and the boys came over and we went for lunch in the Dog and Duck. I did some little flower arrangements for the table (a first for me and I was quite pleased with how they came out.) I also picked up a cake from Linton Kitchen (see extras).

We gathered at ours first, it was lovely and sunny so we sat outside and had champagne while they opened their presents and cards.

Lunch was lovely, then we all came back here again, ate cake and sat outside while the children ran around in the garden.

It's been a lovely day, I've definitely ingested a month's worth of calories and I don't even care.
