Dizzy heights

We are going to get the house painted later in the summer and needed to get the ivy off the woodwork at the top of the house.

A neighbour lent us a ladder and Martin and I have spent several hours wrestling it down. I love the Ivy but we haven’t managed it well and it had started to creep over the roof.

We are having a bit of a focus on the garden this year with Hilda’s help and hope to transform it eventually into a lovely place to be.
