Mockingbirds Today

Yesterday I watched the bluebirds feed their young, and today it was the mockingbirds.  They fly over the adjoining field and have no problem coming up with all sorts of insects.  This mockingbird had a habit of flashing his wings before entering the nest.  I'm not sure why that was necessary.  I have added a photo of one with a bee in extras.

I would love some help identifying the other bird in the extra photos.  I think it's a Brown Thrasher.  I only spotted it once today, although I do remember seeing one in the same gardens last year.  Or perhaps I'm wrong, and it's actually a juvenile mockingbird???

Have a great weekend!
