Not the LAMM, day 1

On a hazy morning, I walked the easy way from Tarbert to the foot of Clisham - at 799m it's the highest peak in the Western Isles - and then up it, over a sequence of outlying peaks and down to a corrie at 500m where I'd planned to camp. Unfortunately it was only 13:30! I didn't want to take chances with my knee by going further, so settled in got the afternoon. I skinny-dipped in the lochan then cooked, ate, wandered, wrote my diary, cooked, wandered, ate, followed the test match - yes, 4G in a corrie on Harris! - slept, cooked, ate, and then slept for over ten hours in my wonderful Nordisk tent.
