Elderflower Syrup

The elderflowers spent two days soaking in sugarwater in the frigde. Cooked the syrup today - almost 4 liters; will last a while. Wonderful smells while it was cooking, but everything sticky afterwards.

In the late afternoon I went to pick more elderflowers for jelly. They went in plain boiling water and are now soaking overnight. Will see how that works. May add mango or apricots or both, will see tomorrow. Now is the time...
