1907

Had a pottering about kind of day today.  Tim sorted out the wiring for the towel rail in the bathroom, and then sealanted around the top of the walls in there.  I helped him out a bit, and also changed the bed.  

This afternoon I spent ages doing something I've wanted to do for a while - going through the huge coin collection I inherited from my Grandad.  I wanted to check whether I had any particularly valuable ones in there.  Not really, I don't think, but I am intrigued by this old penny from 1907 that has a sun symbol stamped into it.

Any ideas anyone?  I've had a good google and haven't been able to find anything else at all like this.  I wonder who stamped it and what it means....
